Leopard (10.5)

Ruby (1.8.6), Ruby Gems (1.0.1) ir Rails (1.2.3) ateina kartu su vėliausia OS X versija (10.5, Leopard).

Siūlau iš karto atsinaujinti Rails į vėliausią versiją. Versija, kuri ateina kartu su OS X yra ganėtinai sena (kalbant Rails programavimo terminais).

I first began working with the NFi Studios team in early August. NFi Studios is in the enviable position of transitioning from a services-based company to a renowned global leader in providing innovative applications to associations and events. They are dominating their niche, and growing fast. I was brought in to aid in this transition. I’ve been helping them implement Agile deeper into every aspect of their operations, and setting up the necessary systems and metrics to ensure smooth and rapid growth. It’s been a great learning experience, and I’ve made many friends.

One of my first experiences at NFi was being was handed a blue duck, and then being told that before going to a team member to get help figuring out a problem, I should talk it out with the duck. As silly as it sounds (and potentially disturbing to those who do not know the duck) it works. If you are seeking the solution to a problem, talk with the blue duck first, and the answer may present itself.
