Justin and I will be taking over the next meeting of the Orlando Ruby Users Group tomorrow, October 8th. Justin will be talking genetic algorithms in Ruby: showing tons of code, running simulations, and talk about using them to solve real world problems. I’ll be talking document databases: comparing them to relational databases, and showing when you would want to use each. Key/value databases will be discussed too.

We’ll be meeting for dinner at BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse at 6 PM. The ORUG meeting will start at 7 PM at DeVry, room 114.
